Tom Lewis' repertoire is primarily Songs of the Sea, of various kinds, though he does branch out to other topics, all to good effect. This is a rare opportunity to hear an excellent shanty-man in a real acoustic presentation. He was originally scheduled to perform at a house concert on Saturday, April 19, but the presenter had to cancel. A new location has been found, at: Stanley Park Field House (in New Edinburgh Park) 193 Stanley Ave., Ottawa, Saturday April 19 7:30pm. Although the concert is not actually at someone's house, it should be considered a house concert. This will be an acoustic event, no amplifiers. A liquor licence is being obtained, so feel free to bring something, if you like. This is not a ticketed event, but you will be able to contribute to whatever degree you feel appropriate. | |||||
