Finest Kind is a remarkable trio whose brilliant vocal arrangements bring excitement to their eclectic repertoire. Ian Robb is a gifted performer of British folksong, an accomplished concertina player, and the recipient of the 2005 Canadian Folk Music Award for Best Traditional Singer. Ann Downey performs with The Toasted Westerns and several other bands playing old-time, cowboy, bluegrass, klezmer, jazz and swing music with banjo, guitar and bass. Shelley Posen is a versatile singer and multi-instrumentalist who has devoted his life to researching, composing and performing songs. Craig/Morgan/Robson is a touring trio of women from England bringing new joy and energy to the art of a cappella harmony singing. Their repertoire includes dramatic traditional ballads, lilting love songs and the occasional cutting edge contemporary number.
